News Update

Coming out of last nights SmackDown, WWE has a new backstage interview with Booker T, discussing Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes. Booker insists he does not want to return to the ring to face Cody because his wrestling days are over. Booker says he has put that life behind him and it’s about focusing on the new generation of stars. This is all part of the storyline as Booker is scheduled to return to the ring soon.

Zack Ryder-YouTube Future?

Zack Ryder states during an interview published in the November 2011 issue of WWE Magazine that he would prefer to end his YouTube show, Z! True Long Island Story, once he secures a comfortable position on WWE programming.

When asked if he's concerned with viewers getting tired of the show, Ryder replied, "Well, I'm tired of it already, so it wouldn't surprise me if some viewers get tired of it soon. Honestly, I can only do this show for so long before the charm kinda wears off. Once I get to where I want to be on TV, then there will be no need for the show, and that's a good thing." Also in the WWE Magazine interview, Ryder said he decided to start the show to get himself noticed, which he knew would "either work or get me fired."

WWE Highlights Undertaker, Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara Feud

-- WWE.com has posted a photo gallery recapturing The Undertaker's most brutal Hell in a Cell encounters. The October 2011 issue of WWE Magazine teased a possible appearance by The Phenom at the subsequent pay-per-view, Vengeance on October 23.

-- As noted earlier here on the webste, a number of WWE employees were said to be feeling uneasy at Monday night's RAW Supershow in Kansas City, Missouri following last week's show in which Vince McMahon went ballistic backstage. He was, however, said to be in a good mood at this week's show. Regarding the segment where McMahon was mentioned by Alberto Del Rio, a company source says Vince approved the name-drop before it aired live. Vince nonetheless grabbed a monitor and slammed it down, which sent people scurrying.

-- Sin Cara is expected to face his impostor in a match this Sunday at Hell in a Cell.

Shawn Michaels

Michael Shawn Hickenbottom (born July 22, 1965), better known by his ring name Shawn Michaels, is an American former professional wrestler, currently signed toWWE, where he has served in an ambassadorial role since December 2010. He consistently performed for WWE, formerly the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), from 1988 until his retirement in early 2010, albeit in non-wrestling roles from 1998 to 2002.
Hickenbottom began his wrestling career with Mid-South Wrestling, now known as Universal Wrestling Federation, and American Wrestling Association (AWA). During his time with AWA, he performed in partnership with Marty Jannetty, as The Midnight Rockers; winning the AWA World Tag Team Championship twice. Hickenbottom and Jannetty briefly signed with World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1987, while in contract with AWA. They returned to AWA, only to go back to the WWF in 1988.
Hickenbottom later worked as a single performer, taking on a new persona of "The Heartbreak Kid" and, first as a villain and later as a fan favorite, moved into the main event sphere. He yielded considerable influence on booking decisions as the leader of The Kliq, a backstage group, which however fell apart in 1996. The following year, he teamed up with Hunter Hearst Hemsley, who often was referred to as Triple H (HHH), Chyna, and Rick Rude to form D-Generation X (DX). This group of wrestlers was known for their sophomoric crude humor. That same year, Hickenbottom took part in one of the most controversial matches in wrestling history, dubbed as the "Montreal Screwjob." After a back injury forced him to retire following his WWF Championship loss at WrestleMania XIV, Hickenbottom opened a wrestling academy, called The Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy, in which he trained upcoming wrestlers. He made his in-ring return at SummerSlam in 2002. In 2006, Hickenbottom and Triple H briefly reformed DX, but after an injury that Triple H sustained, Hickenbottom returned to singles wrestling. Although as of 2009, the duo reunited as a tag team once more, with the two capturing the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship. At WrestleMania XXVI, Michaels was forced to retire from in-ring competition when he lost acareer-threatening match. In December 2010, he signed a long-term deal with WWE, making his first live appearance at a WWE show since WrestleMania later that month. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2011.
Among other accolades, Hickenbottom is a four-time world champion: a three-time WWF Champion and a former World Heavyweight Champion. He was also the winner of the 1995 and 1996 Royal Rumbles and was the company's first Grand Slam Champion. He has also won the Slammy Award a record 11 times. Hickenbottom currently resides in San Antonio, Texas with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children.

DX THEM SONG REMIX!

DX

D-Generation X (also known and spelled as Degeneration XDX and D-X) was a professional wrestling stable in World Wrestling Entertainment (previously the World Wrestling Federation). The group originated in the midst of the WWF's "Attitude Era" from 1997 to 2000.[1] Their gimmick was that of a gang of rebels who acted and spoke as they pleased, no matter how provocative.
After its original run with members Rick Rude, Chyna, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, the group expanded to become a mainstay of the Attitude Era with new additions X-Pac, the New Age Outlaws and Tori until it disbanded in August 2000. After a teased reunion in 2002, DX reformed in June 2006 as the duo of Triple H and Shawn Michaels for the remainder of the year[2] and again in August 2009 until March 2010, shortly before Michaels' retirement. They reunited at the 2010 Tribute to the Troops for one night only.
